
Carlos Cano-Guiterrez, LCSW
Carlos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of practice experience working with diverse populations and organizations throughout the Waco community. He received his Bachelors and Masters of Social Work from Baylor University and has a passion for the Central Texas community and has called it home for over a decade.
As a trained EMDR therapist he is able to address complex trauma and PTSD and has helped numerous individuals navigate these issues to see lasting relief and healing. He also possesses advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Perinatal Mental Health, and other modalities that have helped him assist individuals with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Complex Grief, and numerous other mental health challenges.
He believes that every individual has a unique story to tell and is passionate about people, their stories, and helping support them in them in their counseling journey. He is an active member in his local church and is passionate about the integration of faith and practice and integrating an individuals faith and belief system in the counseling process. When he is not working in the office you can find him spending time with his wife and three children or exploring and finding new places in Waco and Central Texas.
He is currently open and accepting new clients.

If you schedule a health care item or service at least 10 business days in advance, make sure your health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after scheduling. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you do, make sure the health care provider or facility gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing within 3 business days after you ask.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
