Venecia Lynch, LPC, LCDC

Dr. Lynch is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), retired Air Force veteran, and former educator with 24 years of experience. She earned her Associate of Arts and Sciences from El Centro College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Northwood University, a Master’s degree in Professional Development and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, a third Master’s degree in Education Administration from Prairie View A&M University, and most recently, a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg.
Her professional experience includes providing therapy for military children coping with the crisis of a parent’s deployment, injury, or loss; supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence; and conducting health assessments for individuals of all ages experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts at Hickory Trails Psychiatric Hospital. Most recently, Dr. Lynch served as a high school crisis counselor, supporting over 2,400 students in areas including mental health, crisis response, intervention for expectant teens, and prevention and intervention programs for student athletes. Using an evidence-based approach, Dr. Lynch meets clients where they are in life, offering a safe and supportive space to foster resilience, healing, and lasting change.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering through her beloved sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
