Lacy Theobald, LCSW-Supervisor

Lacy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor. She completed her undergraduate study at Texas A&M University in 2002 and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006. 

Lacy has 20 years of experience working with children, adults, and families, specializing in the areas of trauma, anxiety, adjustment, depression, and behavioral challenges. She utilizes an eclectic mix of Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy from a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. 

Previously, Lacy was in private practice in Temple, TX for 4 years. She served for 10 years at Waco Center for Youth, a psychiatric residential treatment facility for adolescents, in which she provided direct clinical services and was the Director of Treatment Services for 7 years. In addition, she has provided clinical supervision to Master’s level practitioners for the past 10 years. 

Lacy believes every individual is capable of change and healing, and possesses the personal strengths within themselves to make that happen. She has a heart for empowering, encouraging, and equipping children, adults, and families to move beyond the trauma and challenges of life to achieve maximum potential in all areas through a safe, caring, and trusting therapeutic relationship.
