Brandi Read is our Public Safety Psychological Evaluations, Assessment, and Communication Director.

Brandi earned her Masters Degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix in 2011. Previous to that she worked for the Alzheimer’s Association where she began her journey for more understanding of mental health issues. From 2010-2017 She worked for the Dallas Veterans Administration where she found a passion for helping the men and women who fought to honor this country. While at the VA she assisted on many research projects and has been noted on several published papers.

Brandi also has a degree in Business and a Bachelors degree in Communication and has found that these are resourceful tools in helping her with child custody and forensic evaluations. Her primary focus in the practice is public safety, child custody, and assisting on forensic evaluations. She strives  to make the environment for all who come for either assessments or therapy feel at ease with the staff at Taft and Associates.
