Dr. Anahy Gonzalez Psy.D.

Dr. Gonzalez is a bilingual clinical psychologist with specialized experience in forensic and correctional psychology. She earned her Psy.D. from Northern Arizona University, an APA accredited program, where her dissertation focused on the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and the risk for sexual recidivism in adult male offenders. During her predoctoral training, Dr. Gonzalez provided treatment to youth in the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, helping them address and overcome behavioral and emotional challenges. She also worked in forensic private practice, where she provided treatment for adults who have been convicted of sexual offenses. Within private practice, Dr. Gonzalez also conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, risk assessments, and culturally informed assessments, including immigration evaluations, while also providing psychotherapy. Dr. Gonzalez completed her predoctoral internship at Dallas County Juvenile Department, providing psychological assessments, therapy, and crisis interventions for youth in detention and residential treatment. With a strong foundation in clinical, correctional, and forensic settings, Dr. Gonzalez is committed to delivering culturally competent psychological services that promote healing, personal growth, and community safety.
