Alex received her Master's of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2016 after completing internships with Mt. Olive High School and Edna Mahan Women’s Correctional Facility.  She relocated from New Jersey to Texas and began working for Tarrant County in 2017 running the Youth Offender Diversion Alternative under now retired Judge Jamie Cummings in Criminal Court 5 until 2023 when she left to pursue private practice.  This program focused on providing counseling and case management to first time offenders of domestic violence.  In addition, Alex sees clients residing in local assisted living facilities and nursing homes to provide support to the aging population.

Alex uses a variety of modalities and tailors her approach to meet the individual client or couple's needs, focusing mostly on a combination of cognitive behavioral and solution-focused interventions.  In her free time, Alex spends time with her family, which is made up of her husband, two toddlers, and three dogs.  They enjoy spending time outdoors and regularly traveling to Disney.
