Krystal Raley, LPC - Equine Therapist

Krystal received her M.A. Sport-Exercise Psychology from Argosy University-Phoenix in 2005 and interned under Barbra Schulte of “Mentally Tough Riding.” She became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2007. She has worked at several residential facilities, helping adolescents, men, and women, specializing in addiction (using the 12 Step Model) with dual (mental health) diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and many others.
Krystal served the Sheridan, Wyoming community since 2006, through both therapeutic services and helping in 4-H. She has been in Corsicana since 2020 and looks forward to providing a plethora of counseling techniques and theories are used to best assist clients, including Attachment work, Trauma-focused brain development, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, 12 Step Model, Biblical-based guidance. and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
She has been offering equine assisted therapy services for over 10 years. Krystal is Certified as a Mental Health Professional and an Equine Specialist in Natural Lifemanship ® and has recently become a Trainer. Through Natural Lifemanship ® principles, the horses connect with clients during sessions. All services are based on interpersonal neurobiology and the principles of Natural Lifemanship, and a deep and growing knowledge of trauma-informed care. She partners with horses to help individuals and teams learn and practice the principles that will create healing, safety, and success in their lives.
