Philip R. Taft, Psy.D

Dr. Taft earned a bachelors, masters and doctorate in psychology from Baylor University. He completed his Clinical Internship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1999 where he studied adult forensic assessment and clinical counseling extensively. He has been a licensed psychologist since 2000. He has served the Corsicana community in private practice since 2002 and was the Director of Clinical Services at the Corsicana Residential Treatment Center from 2000-2005. Dr. Taft is an active member of the local community and his church. He is able to provide expertise in the following areas:
 

Clinical Counseling Services:
Children, Adolescents and Adults; Individual, Family and Couples Counseling; Christian Orientation available.

Consultation Services:
For professionals, businesses and organizations to improve productivity, employee morale, corporate or individual goals.

Seminars are available on a variety of topics including Stress Management & Team Building.

Forensic Services: Adult Violence Risk, Competency and Mental Status at the time of Offense Assessment; Juvenile and Adult Expert Court Testimony; Juvenile Transfer to TDJC Evaluations, Competency and Mental Status at the time of Offense Assessment.
