What is NeurOptimal Feedback?
First, it is important to understand that NeurOptimal is not the same as traditional neurofeedback,. NeurOptimal is a dynamical, non-linear system, designed to work with each person’s unique brain to bring about optimal functioning.

How does it work?
The technology detects the brain’s activity through sensors placed on the head and then provides real time audible feedback to the brain through the sound coming through the headphones .
One way of explaining how the brain responds to the feedback is by comparing it to how the brain responds to the feedback from the Central Nervous System. For example, when a person sits for too long in the same position, a pain signal is sent to the brain, and this feedback results in the persons shifting their body (often without even thinking about it) into a more healthy and comfortable position.
