Andrew W. Griffin, Ph.D.
Dr. Griffin currently provides forensic and other types of psychological evaluation services to individuals and courts in Texas, with a specialty in services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He performed forensic evaluations for the Mexia State Supported Living Center for eleven years, and is court qualified for forensic services.
Dr. Griffin received his Ph.D. from Texas A & M University and has been a licensed psychologist in Texas since 1991. Additional specialty training includes forensic assessments, psychopharmacology, family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, and critical incident responder debriefing. Dr. Griffin also has extensive experience in geropsychology services in long-term care facilities and as a former psychologist and program director at the geriatric unit at Austin State Hospital. He has provided numerous professional and community workshops on forensics, geropsychology, mental health, and other topics.
